WELCOME to the site of a strange reenactment group that is not accepting nor looking for new members.

This is because, at the moment, it's home to the "group" of people that are primarily interested in helping interested people find a place within War of 1812 Reenacting in general.  (In other words, the home of the folks that look after recruiting via CrownForces.ca ...)

This "group" proper at the moment is by invitation only and acts as a conduit for those that are not affiliated to any one group to have a home and participate in reenactments.

However, we are ALWAYS happy to help someone thinking about or interested in joining a War of 1812 group find a good fit in terms of proximity and where they'd like to be within the hobby.  The best way to help is fill out the recruiting form at Join1812.com

Since we have this website, we will also try to keep (as non-group specific) information about the hobby that as a potential recruit may help if you're interested.

Of note, this group is "officially" Duncan Cameron's Company of The 3rd Regiment of York Militia which was based in and around Lambton Mills... so "we" see ourselves as being West End Toronto area... so based in Parkdale, High Park, Islington Village, Mimico... and of course, the Lambton Mills area,
